When I am doing a KiCad layout, it is almost never the DRC that gets me. It’s the fact that I skipped or misused ERC and I have been doing layout under false pretenses. Who needed that power pin hooked up, anyway?
Of course I need to spend hours designing this extra BGA part onto a board for an obscure use case, I’ll be able to hand populate it no problem. Why do you ask?

Usually reaching out to one or two former co-workers from my early days of work will have me crawling LinkedIn seeing where others have landed and what they’ve done. It’s really heartwarming to see former colleagues be so successful.

I have set up my computer/phone to try out “Doom Coding” (link below) because I was tickled by the novelty. Found some other interesting ideas in the process, but the real deal is that even directing code on a phone, let alone a single screen, is tough to capture all the things you want to be looking at/checking. I am, however, tickled to access a custom webpage generated “locally” from anywhere. Novel for me, at least

I deleted a Digital Ocean virtual server today, having migrated the 3 Wordpress sites it hosted to static sites. Hoping to lighten the load like that some more in 2026.
